In 2006 Jay-Z set out on his ‘Water for Life’ world tour. He joined forces with the United Nations and together they planned ways to help fight the global water crisis. Jay traveled all over the world, with MTV cameras in tow, filming the documentary ‘Diary of Jay-Z: Water for Life’.
When he visited Nigeria as a gesture of their gratitude for Hov’s efforts Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin in Kwara, named a road in the village after him.
