#SATURDAYRECOMMENDATIONS: MOVIES
The 3rd entry in the Brett Ratner directed series; Rush Hour 3. Forget what you may have heard this movie is just as funny and interesting as the other ones. It still has Chris Tucker antics and the funnier increases if you just really watch how Jackie Chan moves(he be on some other junk).
This movie takes you across the globe from America to France with an ending sequence that makes you wonder; How did they pull this off?
So take time out and purchase all three in actuality because, you’re gonna laugh your ass off.

90s R&B group Kut Klose offers what everyone loved about R&B in the 90s. Deep synths, powerful singing voices and songs to groove to. This album doesn’t lack any of the three. Kut Klose was discovered by R&B sensation Keith Sweat and he served as executive producer on this album.
Standout Tracks:
1. Get Up On It ft. Keith Sweat
2. Surrender
3. I Like

#SATURDAYRECOMMENDATIONS:GAMES
A classic in every sense of the word, it’s Super Mario 64. Originally released in the summer of ‘96 who knew a game like this would become such a legend.
This game took platform gaming to new levels. Personally my favorite part of the game is when you have to go defeat Bowser and save The Princess.
If you don’t have a Nintendo 64 anymore the game is available on the Wii on it’s virtual console.

#SATURDAYRECOMMENDATIONS: MOVIES
The newly-released film “Limitless” starring Bradley Cooper(The Hangover), Abbie Cornish, and Robert DeNiro.
Ever wondered what would you do with the full use of your brain’s power. This movie explores the possibility of using your brain full potential and becoming limitless. Of course, you know it’s not all good and Cooper’s character is being hunted for newly acquired abilities.
Filled with action, thought provoking themes, and pure movie. Everyone should see this movie just off the plot.

#SATURDAYRECOMMENDATIONS: MUSIC
½ of The Cool Kids, Formerly known as Mikey Rocks, it’s the debut solo mixtape from Sir Michael Rocks.
“The Rocks Report” is good on many levels, such as customized polo logo on the artwork and the production level bestowed upon listeners. The Tape begins with a speaker banging track which features Chuck Inglish and a chorus performed by one of the sexiest voices I’ve heard from a woman. Then, the tape gets a plus for the hilarious skits entitled “Times Are Hard”, that you will have to hear for yourself.
Overall, I didn’t expect such a good quality of work to come from him being solo, so I must recommend this to all listeners of Music.
Today is Week 9 of our annual Saturday Recommendations. Each week, we at FreshThoughts recommend things you should check out in the following categories:
The film follows the changing lives of three incoming freshmen at the fictional Columbus University: Malik Williams (Omar Epps), a black track star who struggles with academics; Kristen Connor (Kristy Swanson), a shy and naive girl; and Remy (Michael Rapaport), a lonely and confused man seemingly out of place in his new environment.
Probably Jay-Z’s most underrated and unappreciated album ever released, Kingdom Come may be his most lyrical entry because Jigga was in a total different state of life when the album released.
Kingdom Come is based off the DC storyline (entitled the same as the album), When Superman and the other heroes step away and all the younger heroes are ruining the state of the world, which causes the old heroes to return to set the world where it was. Much like the comic story, When Jay-Z stepped away it’s like hip hop was going away and couldn’t survive without the presence of Jay-Z or so he felt.
Also, the album have a continuing theme of Maturity, as Jay-Z speaks on how he moved on from his younger tactics and see the world from a greater perspective.
Week 9 of Saturday Recommendations, each week we at FreshThoughts recommend things you should check out in the following categories:

Raekwon The Chef, respected artist, but somehow many youth do not know about Raekwon, well it’s time to change that.
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx was released in 1995. Featured many slang words and vocabulary not heard by many regions of the country. The album featured a storyline about two men (Raekwon & Ghostface) trying to make a better life but have one last mission to complete and finally leave the game for good.
Also, the skit Shark Niggas(biters) is a subliminal diss to Biggie,Raekwon reference Biggie stealing his Ready to Die cover from the Illmatic cover. The album also includes the classic hit “Ice Cream” which most have heard before but didn’t know who make it.
The Chef new album “Shaolin vs Wu-Tang” is due out in March. For now catch up on The Chef with his solo debut.

#SATURDAYRECOMMENDATIONS: MOVIES
Recently the teaser trailer for “The Hangover 2” was just released to the general public. It reminded me of how funny the original Hangover is.
Starring Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helm. The plot revolves around a night in Vegas which gets out of hand and result in the disappearance of their friend Doug.
Filled with classic hilarious moments and a crazy cameo from Mike Tyson. SO everyone should watch the original for preparation of the 2011 sequel.
