Road to a Million: My Deepest Discovery

Day 9 of 12 — The Project That Changed Everything

Yesterday I took you back to Trinosophes. A live setting. Raw energy. No safety net.

Today I’m taking you somewhere deeper.

My Deepest Discovery dropped in March 2025 and it was the first time I felt like everything I’d been building — the law career, the art, the fashion, the music — all of it finally lived in the same room at the same time on a record.

This was the project where the writing matured. Where I stopped trying to prove I belonged and just started showing it. Where the references got sharper, the bars got denser, and the subject matter got more layered.

Why This Project Matters in the Journey

If you’ve been following along this week, you’ve watched me walk you through every era — from First of His Name all the way through the live recordings. Each one represents a version of me figuring it out in real time.

My Deepest Discovery is the version that figured it out.

“Living It” opens the album with a statement that wasn’t aspirational — it was present tense. I wasn’t dreaming about being a lawyer. I was the lawyer. I wasn’t imagining the lifestyle. I was in it. That shift from “I want” to “I am” — that’s what this whole project captured.

“Terror Era” became the breakout. 10,000+ Shazams across five continents. People in countries I’ve never been to were identifying that song. That’s when I understood the music had legs beyond my own reach. That track proved something: when you stop chasing validation and start creating from conviction, the world finds you.

And then “The Heart Feels” — that two-part joint is the most honest thing I’ve ever recorded. The introspection. The self-interrogation. The acknowledgment that you can be winning externally and still be working through things internally. I wrote myself through something on that record, and the response told me I wasn’t the only one feeling it.

The Artwork

I drew the cover myself. Two hands — my hands — gripping currency against a backdrop of red, green, and black. The colors aren’t accidental. The imagery isn’t decorative. It’s a visual thesis: what does it mean to hold value in a system that wasn’t built for you? What do you do with the money, the talent, the opportunity when it finally arrives?

That picture now exists as a physical piece. The same hands that wrote the bars painted the cover. That’s not a flex — that’s the whole point. I don’t outsource the vision.

What I Hear Now That I Didn’t Hear Then

A year later, I hear confidence I didn’t even know I had when I recorded it. “Not Too Deep” was me wrestling with the tension every artist feels — wanting to go deeper but knowing the audience wants accessibility. I found the balance. “Can’t be too nerdy, can’t be too street / In the middle where great things meet.” That line became a personal mantra beyond just the music.

“Stargazing” was prophetic. I wrote “I made up in my mind that Harry will ascend to greatness / And yes I know it took some time, excuse me for my lateness” — and here we are, less than a year later, running a 12-day campaign to cross 1,000,000 lifetime streams. The words became the roadmap.

The Numbers

We’re sitting at 930,643 streams and climbing every day this week. This project — My Deepest Discovery — is a significant chunk of that number. Every time someone discovers “Terror Era” through Shazam in São Paulo or London or Lagos, that number moves. Every time someone puts “Living It” on a workout playlist, that number moves.

But the number isn’t the point. The number is proof of something bigger: consistency works. Showing up works. Refusing to stop works.

Standout Tracks: “Living It,” “Terror Era,” & “The Heart Feels”

If you’ve never listened, start with those three. If you’ve already heard the project, run it back today. Every stream this week pushes us closer to 1,000,000.

Tomorrow: Harry Americana. A whole different energy.

Four days until When You Step On A Tiger’s Tail.

We’re almost there.

— JHarry
