September 2020. The year was chaos. Pandemic. Protests. Uncertainty everywhere.
But I had clarity.
“Long May He Reign” was me claiming the crown. Not asking for permission. Not waiting for validation. Just declaring: this is mine.
The title track - with 503,224 streams - became my most-streamed song ever. And I understand why.
“A king with no subjects is a regular nigga / And a lord with no wealth is a pitiful nigga.”
That bar cut through the noise. It said everything I needed to say about power, status, and the difference between titles and substance.
This project was 16 tracks of pure ambition. Some confidence. Some vulnerability. Some moments that proved I could sustain quality across a full-length project.
“Long May He Reign” (title track) established the tone: “If you switched sides you destined for death.” No gray area. Loyalty or nothing. Powered by me rapping on 2Pac Hailmary sample you can tell I wasn’t coming to play with anybody !
“Crown Heavy” acknowledged the weight of leadership: “That crown heavy it made outta pure gold.” Success isn’t light. It costs something.
“Right Where I Belong” (featuring Codee) was celebration: “This is a celebration / Oh what’s the occasion / Give it up to the life cuz this shit amazing.” We made it. Time to acknowledge it.
“What I Throw Around” repped the city: “I do it for the niggas on my side of town / Eastside eastside what I throw around.” Never forget where you came from.
“You Know How I’m On It” was pure aggression: “Locked and loaded / Get it how you want it.”
“Twerkin’ in the Rain” The simplicity fun made this easily one of my most popular songs I ever made, absurd yet catchy “Twerkin In the Rain, I wanna see her hop out do her thang, I want her to show that it ain’t game, I wanna see her go nuts go insane”
“My Baby, Good Night” celebrated real partnership: “My baby got drip / My baby got sauce.”
“No Shit Like That” addressed obstacles: “Something wanna hold me down / Something wanna bring me back.” Can’t have that.
“See You Fall” acknowledged the haters: “The opps want to see me fall / The cops want to see me fall.” They can want it. Won’t happen.
“Injury Prone” separated the real from the pretenders: “They ain’t ready to ball / They injury prone.”
“Good Luck with Me” was confidence: “Her friends told her good luck with me / My daddy told her that she stuck with me.”
“Man and Matter” closed with the deepest bars: “How can they tell me I don’t matter / When I’m made out of matter.” Black excellence. Black consciousness. Black power.
16 tracks. Full range. Crown secured.
503,224 streams and counting.
Stream “Long May He Reign” now. New EP “When You Step On A Tiger’s Tail” drops 2.20.26.
