Before I was an attorney, I was a kid memorizing rap verses. In law school I realized the same techniques used to master bars, repetition, rhythm, and breaking down lyrics , were the exact tools that helped me memorize the law.
Some words that has been reoccurring in my law school career are; reasonableness and of course foreseeability. Foreseeability deals with if there was a great chance a person could see something happening before it happens. Foreseeability has now been a great assistance in my waking life. I started to think twice about outcomes and what would be the most likely scenario to occur. Looking at things from a foreseeability angle makes precautionary actions easier to take.
Foreseeability helps with whether I go to an event in a shaky environment or something simple as should I put my phone in a certain spot knowing its a chance it could be damaged or something. Foresight is a gift but it can be exercised.
