THANKS TO ANOTHER PAGE: THE AVENUES OF PROMOTION

Today I was watching insta-stories and I watched Skepta’s (skeppy what’s good) and seen that Novelist (UK mc/producer) dropped a new album.

I love Novelist and I follow him on Instagram but I had no idea he had a new project out. Which lead me to the thought of good thing information doesn’t only comes from one source.

Relying on one stream of information can lead to no information or possibly worse, misinformation. Some news may be simple as finally finding out one of your favorite artist has a new album or it could be something detrimental.

Imagine not knowing an important date or an extreme loss occurred all because the source you followed dropped the ball on delivering the information.

Today’s mishap is also more reason to why Instagram should switch its algorithm back to chronological order but, that is an argument for another day.

Due to the overcrowding of social media I’m grateful that other pages can serve as sources of info so I can always be in the loop for things that matters to me. In fact, you should be grateful just as much.

CHANGE THE ORDER: AN INSIDE LOOK ON PERSPECTIVE

CHANGE THE ORDER: AN INSIDE LOOK ON PERSPECTIVE

Yesterday I was having my usual jam session, listening to my current rotation of songs from my playlists. When I changed the filter of how the songs was sorted (it changed from date saved to artists by alphabetical order) I discovered songs that I haven't listened to in a while. This action made me think of how if we can just switch one way of how we all always do a task,it could be the same as giving ourselves a brand new experience.

Before I made the sorting change I was having the same songs on repeat and it started to grow tiresome. I kept saying "'man I need  some new tracks to listen to". We could be searching for new ways to shop, cut our hair, etc. the continual doing of the task isn't the problem, it's the remedial action of doing the task one way that is a nuisance. The great thing about shifting perspectives is it doesn't take much to approach a situation from a different angle, it could be as a simple as changing your sorting options in your playlists.
