If you're an avid viewer of HBO's hit series, Game of Thrones, you would know that Tyrion Lannister is among one of the most cleverest characters on the show. Known for being unusually skilled at reason and planning, his go to niche have been less than stellar this season. As most of his plans are foiled by his enemies outsmarting his moves every step of the way. Eventually his queen (Daenarys Targaryen ) eventually grows tired of his clever schemes and take matters into her own hands.
Which brings us to our key lesson of today , we have to learn when it is time to stop listening to the advice of others. Most of the time advice from your closest council (parents, friends, etc) stems for good intention. However we must remember that those who issue the advice don't have to live with the consequences of the decision completely like we would have to. Earlier Daenarys is even warned by an elderly lady ally of hers named Olenna Tyrell, that she should think twice about listening to every word of Tyrion's and she should harness more of what makes her unique in the first place. She is a fearless conqueror not a master thinker like Tyrion.
When we take advice from others it should be dissected and well evaluated before any of the said advice is implemented. Also it is important to note that a keen intuition triumphs an overly concocted plan any day. Therefore be weary of advice, double down on your instincts and make it a habit to double take the words of your advisors.

In life we always try to get to the next point of our destination as quickly as possible. We become anxious and the pressure to get from who you are to where you want to be builds up daily. Waiting for the weather to break can be analogous to waiting for your literal break in life.
After daylight savings time, we get a longer glimpse of the sun and every time we look out the window we immediately want to go enjoy the warmth. Only to find out there is no warmth and winter(even though it's spring) is still continuing it's regular routine. It's much like seeing your opportunity but jumping the gun too early. You know it isn't the time to strike but you get so engulfed with wanting to enjoy the "warmth" you run outside only to find that it's still freezing.
The solution? As simple and cliche it may sounds, the passage of time is the only answer to this dilemma. We literally know it can't be like this forever just like your current situation can't stay how it is. Even if it's in the slightest way a change always occur. We deal with the cold by "bundling up" and dressing warm we can do the same in our current life by embracing our current situation because it is only by acceptance that we can peacefully see our way through the other side.

Trick shots are unconventional, requires patience, and are mastered with a lot of practice (sprinkled with some luck).
Trick shots are just like the risks we take in life. Most people stick with the fundamentals and what always work. If people know they can always make a mid range jumper they seldom attempt to hit a three from a half court.
People that take risks in life are admired[sometimes shrouded as hate] by others who don't take risks. Seeing someone take a risk and succeed is amazing to see but if they fail it's generally expected because, most people don't attempt to go outside the norm anyway. It's equivalent to watching someone play pool and make a crazy shot, you write it off as nothing but luck if they succeed and aren't surprise if it fails because those are shots you're not used to seeing anyways.
The main objective of this article is show that the positive result people have in taking risks isn't strictly due to luck. People who take risks are constantly pushing themselves past their normal limits and the more they do this the more the supernatural becomes the very natural.

HOW THE BAD THINGS IN LIFE CAN MAKE FOR A GOOD STORY
Vito Corleone's death scene in The Godfather
Barry gets dismantled in his first encounter with Zoom
Today on my morning commute, I was thinking about a great win we took last night and all the hardships we had to overcome in the past several years. I thought to myself "man if somebody was watching this on tv they would be going crazy after seeing all these rollercoaster rides" and that's when it hit me, as cliche as it sounds it really is about a journey. Think about how uninteresting it would be if The Flash beat every major villain in a single episode or The Godfather just showed Marlon Brando reigning supreme all day. No story is complete without drama. Even though, people strive to live without petty drama it is the dilemmas/problems that give our life story depth.
Michael Jordan didn't come out the gate being the greatest basketball player of all time, he didn't even make varsity squad in high school on his first attempt. Van Gogh only sold one painting in his lifetime...ONE! A major lesson I've learned is not to be outcome dependent, meaning being hyper focused on the results of an outcome instead of just taking it as it comes. That's equivalent to rushing ahead to the season finale without watching any of the core episodes.
The Red Vineyard was the only painting Van Gogh sold in his lifetime
If you are wanting to rush to the "good parts" of life chances are you're already in it, enjoy the show baby you're going to be here for a while!

In recent times you may have noticed a surge of people wanting to become entrepreneurs and/or expand their creative boundaries. Although many of these people just enjoy the thought of accomplishing something instead of actually pursuing it. Think of a new venture as playing a video game you just purchased. Usually when you play a game for the first time it asks you would you like a tutorial or skip straight ahead.
The tutorial doesn't seem like a bad idea but spending time on it takes away from you actually starting the game and that is what happens when people spend too much time in the research stage. To get started you don't have to learn every move of the game in the beginning it'd save you more time to just learn as you go and pick up on new skills by collaborating with more people. Its adjacent to playing your new game with someone else who already has it and they show you things that you didn't previously know how to do before.
Learning is essential but it can be crippling but the one thing that triumphs learning is applying what you learn. So skip all the lessons for now go ahead and get started now you're going to be happy that you did.
